South Bend Clutch sells only Sachs engineered part for VW TDI. Each and every part will have the OE number on the pressure plate and disc visible upon request (unpainted) to the consumer.
Friction materials are upgraded to a higher "co-efficient of friction" for more torque with each stage.
Pressure plate clamp load is increased 15% for stage 1-2 and 3 with out increasing release bearing load.
